Here is a look at some math centers we are starting tomorrow!
Spin & Color Game: Spin the spinner and rainbow write the number that it lands on. If you land on the monster you lose a turn. The first column to be filled is the winner! OR you can play with a small group: Each player takes a turn spinning the spinner. When it is the players turn, they rainbow write the number they land on. The first player to fill in a column first wins!
Clothespin Counting 1-10
Counting Beads on a Pipe Cleaner 1-10
Write the numbers 1-10 with playdoh
Tracing and Writing Numbers 1-10 and fill in the ten frame
Tracing Numbers 1-10 and draw to match the number.
Trace and Draw Shapes- Triangle, Circle, Squares, and Rectangles: I put these in paper protector for students to trace and write with dry erase markers.

Finding the Matching Letter: Students pull a letter out of a bag and find the matching letter on their recording sheet. They use a bingo marker to mark the letter they find. You can do it in many ways:
(Uppercase to Lowercase, Lowercase to Uppercase, Uppercase to Uppercase, or Lowercase to Lowercase).
Tracing and Writing Letters A-Z
Find the Matching Piggy A-Z: Students pull a piggy out of a bag and find the matching letter on their recording sheet. They color the matching piggy and then place the letter back in the bag. The first one to get all of their piggys colored wins! You can do it in many ways: (Uppercase to Lowercase, Lowercase to Uppercase, Uppercase to Uppercase, or Lowercase to Lowercase).
Magnetic Letter Match A-Z
Trace, Write, Stamp a Word (These words are words that go along with the letters and sounds that we have learned)
Playdoh Letters A-Z: I forgot to take a picture of these! I have them printed on colored paper and laminated :)

Art Center: Students color the picture, cut on the dotted lines, then glue the pieces in order 1-5 onto construction paper. (2 different pictures)
Writing Center: Students Write 'I see (name).' I then put everyones writing into a 3 ring binder and make it into a classroom book. I place the book in the classroom library for everyone to enjoy!
